Job Description:
IBM Supply Chain Architecture is seeking Senior IT Architects to support engagements within the Public Sector's Supply Chain Management Practice Area of IBM Global Business Services. Work will be performed in Washington, DC and Atlanta, GA. Senior IT Architects work with the client to design solutions to address complex IT and business requirements. The resulting design may run on multiple platforms and may be composed of multiple software packages. Senior IT Architects are expected to perform critical evaluation and selection of the software and hardware components of the applications and data, and prepares for the development of the application by evaluation and selection of development methodologies and tools.
Position requires being able/willing to travel per GBS policy.

Required
High School Diploma/GED
At least 2 years experience in developing and implementing IT solutions for government/military clients
Readyness to travel Up to 75%; travelling 5 days a week, home on weekends
U.S. citizenship required
English: Basic knowledge
Preferred
Bachelor's Degree
At least 5 years experience in developing and implementing IT solutions for government/military clients
At least 5 years experience in consulting
At least 3 years experience in implementing architectural patterns and frameworks and working with methodologies such as Rational Unified Process (RUP)
At least 3 years experience in some combination of the following technologies: Java, J2EE, .NET, XML and Portal Development
At least 1 year experience in ERP applications
English : Intermediate
