Job Description:
IBM Global Business Services (GBS) Public Sector is currently looking for qualified candidates to join the growing Financial Management practice. Consultants will perform a range of functions for public sector clients, including financial analysis, financial statement compilation, General Ledger accounting, business process analysis and reengineering, internal control reviews, cost management, budgeting, statistical and data analysis, and general process improvement. Strong academic records and skills in quantitative analysis and problem solving; excellent verbal and communication skills; able to work in team environment. Should be able to meet deadlines, handle multiple tasks concurrently and adaptable to new assignments, systems, tools. **This specific job does not require travel outside of the DC Metro area. However, please be advised that future job requirements may require travel up to 100%.
